A late room built inside a working mill. Rust on the beams, oxidised copper above the floor, burgundy light in the corners — a floor that turns strangers into a chorus.
01 — The Room
The Mill was a working grain mill for eighty years before it was a room for music. The beams still show the rust. The copper condensers still line the ceiling — gone dark with weather and time.
We turn the lights down low and let the room do the rest. There is no VIP, no bottle service, no photograph. Only a floor, a system, and a resident who knows when to hold and when to let go.
02 — Floors
The room is a single volume. Its corners are lit differently so the floor can breathe without ever leaving it.
Warm wash
The main room. Low ceiling, hard concrete, one hanging bulb of warm light. This is where the mill still hums.
Copper · Two decks
A copper-clad island in the middle of the room — the resident is on the floor, not above it.
Function-One · Analog
Stacks of vintage horns and subs, tuned to the walls of the mill itself. Loud is not the point; long is.
Smoked burgundy
A dark bank of banquettes lit only by burgundy filament — the room to catch a breath between records.
03 — Residents
Six residents on rotation. No guest sets, no headliners — the room learns their hands over months, not sets.
